Joints Hurt? Muscles Sore? Frequent Headaches? Tense? Can't Sleep?
Learn the Healing Secrets your Great-Grandmother Knew!
If modern medicine has not been able to help you with the pain in your joints, your blocked sinuses, poor sleep or your sore muscles and tension, maybe it's time you tried some real old-fashioned treatments — perhaps the very techniques that your great-grandmother used to effectively treat aches and pains at home.
The Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church is offering a six-session course on the basics of hydrotherapy, a home treatment method that uses water (yes, water) to alleviate a range of symptoms. In these sessions you will not only learn when and how to apply hot and cool water treatments and massage, but you will learn some of the science behind joint pain and other maladies and how hydrotherapy works on the body. You'll also learn how to strengthen your immune system and boost your overall energy levels.
The sessions are open to the public and free of charge, but pre-registration is required. The sessions will be held from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm every Sunday evening from September 16 through October 14 at the Country Life Vegetarian Restaurant.
