On May 19th at 5:30 pm Peggy Schauffler, owner/chef at Country Life is giving a talk and cooking demo titled: Identifying and Cooking Nutrient Dense Food.
We will cover the carbon chaining of food and chemicals in our foods. Some of the foods we will discuss are micro-greens and juicing. We will make crackers, fava bean soup, and micro green salad. We will demonstrate how to cook vegetables in order to keep in nutrients.
Cost is free and will be held at the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church located on 42 Forbush Lane, Swanzey, NH (between “Monadnock Harley Davidson” and “Scrap It” just off Rt. 12, south of Keene.)
